A breathtaking antique ring that can be worn alone or even as an alternative engagement ring.
This ring has a well-crafted gold shank upon which is a stunning cabochon-cut opal at 6.5mm x 5mm - that almost comes to life in different light angles.
Surrounding the opal in an elongated halo are 12 dazzling old single-cut diamonds at approx 1.8mm each, with the total diamond carat weight being approx. .20ct.
The stones are all set in platinum.
The perfect combination of these stones make a whimsical, romantic ring originating from the late 1800s- early 1900s.
Crafted in solid 18ct gold. Stamped 18ct & PLAT.
The previous owner has kept this ring in excellent condition, it has no signs of wear and has been professionally cleaned & polished.
